1. Introduction

Vision

Established on 25th December 2010, our center is fully prepared to participate and implement labor technical skills training within the short amount of time. Our team adheres to the management philosophy of “innovation, proactive, professionalism, determination, adaptability, and service”, promoting vocational skills education, elevating labor skillsets, assist disadvantaged groups in skill acquisition and job placement, aid in the development of various industries within the city, strengthen the competitiveness of laborers in the job market, decrease unemployment rate and maintain the security of the society as a whole. Additionally, our team aims to shorten the gap in service quality between cities and countryside, enabling vocational training to be more commonplace in all areas, and fostering an economic environment that retains local residents. Lastly, with the full utilization of available resources, we intend to not only expand service scope, but also to enriching the training content, thereby strengthening as well as elevating training effectiveness, all of which while striving towards the New Taipei City’s Vocational Training Center’s vision of “Prevalent Vocational Training, Localized Job Placement.”

Duties

  1. Privately-held Vocational Training
    Employed laborer license counseling training
    Handling of business training cooperation program
    Assist in the handling of technician skills certification (Field test)
    Industry development vocational training for designated areas
    Handling of job placement counseling after training
    Collect items which needs investigation for the City’s vocational training
    Handling of digital ability improvement training for citizens
    Provide digital learning courses
  2. Outsourcing the Handling of Vocational Training for the Unemployed
    Entrust universities, vocational high school, and private companies to handle pre-employment training.
    Entrust universities, vocational high school, and private companies to handle business training cooperation program.
    Entrust universities, vocational high school, and private companies to handle industry development vocational training course for designated areas.
    Entrust universities, vocational high school, and private companies to handle pre-employment training for designated subjects.

Training Policies

  1. Vocational Training More Commonplace: Design area-specific industry development training courses in accordance with the features of each area, thereby allowing vocational training to become more commonplace, fostering new opportunities of local job placement.
  2. Job Type Marketing: Training that meets the manpower demands of the industry so the one can fully utilize what he/she has learned.
  3. Improve Laborers’ Skills: Design license certification counseling courses, elevate the skills required for the job for laborers, increase employment competitiveness.
  4. Customized Vocational Training: Vocational training that are designed with an understanding of the current industry trend, thereby achieving the goal of “using what you’ve learned”.
  5. Employment Advice: Formulation of appropriate vocational training courses that are specifically tailored for the recently unemployed; assist with job placement after training.
  6. Protect the Disadvantaged: Open customized courses for special unemployed groups.
  7. Flexible Working Hours: Catering to the working hour restrictions of laborers, day shifts, even shifts and weekend/holiday shifts are designed.
  8. Online Vocational Training: Online courses; application submission available via the internet.
